Jorida Tabaku

Jorida Tabaku is a prominent and respected Member of the Albanian Parliament, representing the Democratic Party (DP) since 2013. Her extensive political career includes serving as Deputy Mayor of Tirana (2011-2013) and Deputy Minister of European Integration (2009-2011).
Within Parliament and the DP, she has held significant leadership roles, including Deputy Chair of the DP and Chair of the European Affairs Committee, alongside membership in the Economy and Finance Committee. Ms. Tabaku gained widespread recognition for chairing the parliamentary Inquiry Committee regarding incinerator contracts, a role lauded for its thoroughness.
Her consistent performance has earned her recognition as a top MP by independent watchdogs. Holding a PhD in Economics and having lectured at the University of Tirana, she brings deep expertise in public finance, economic policy (notably advocating for flat tax), corporate governance, and European integration.
